PAXO quotes a flat fare before you book. It does not move because it started raining, or because a concert let out, or because you happened to open the app at 5pm. Drivers keep the fare they earn and pay a $25.00 Day Pass on the days they drive — not a cut of each trip.

How a PAXO trip works
Four steps, and the price is settled at step two. Nothing about the fare changes after that unless you change the trip.
- Sign in with your phone number We text you a one-time passcode. There is no password to forget and no password for anyone to steal.
- Enter where you are going PAXO returns a quote: the total, every line in it, and what a named competitor would charge for the same trip. You see all of it before you commit.
- Book at that price The quote you accepted is the fare the trip is created with. Your driver is matched from nearby, and you follow the car on the map.
- Arrive and pay the quoted fare Tips are optional, go entirely to your driver, and can be added any time in the seven days after the trip.

Pennsylvania launch
PAXO is preparing to launch in Pennsylvania pending approval from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Until that approval is granted, nothing on this site is an offer to provide transportation services, and no trips are being carried.
